Do we really need a reason to tune into a dance-based reality show! It's energetic, fun, and makes us think of our carefree days. Also, when kids are involved on a competitive stage, our entertainment level goes up by many levels! That's exactly why we are excited about Sony TV's Super Dancer (Frames Productions)...we give you five reasons to watch the show. Take a look:
Judges:
The judging panel is made up of actress-dancer Shilpa Shetty, choreographer Geeta Kapoor, and director Anurag Basu. While Shilpa and Geeta critique the dancers and their techniques, Anurag looks at the overall picture, which only an ace filmmaker can. The trio is never harsh or rude, but supportive and encouraging.
'Super' dancers:
Most accomplished dancers would stare in wonder as these little magicians spin their magic on the stage. You'd think that kids wouldn't be able to get the nuances of a song right, but you'd be so wrong...because these kids know exactly how to emote, express, and hit the nail on its head. Impressive, indeed.
Performers:
They don't just dance and exit the stage. They tell a story. They keep us hooked. They make an impact. The overall performance gives each act the grandeur and vision of a full-fledged movie. With Anurag on their heels, can any child miss out on a truly enjoyable performance? We think not.
Kids, the perfect entertainers:
There's something so genuine and enjoyable about kids who are so innocent, yet worldly-wise. Their determination and dream make them fighters who don't fall into petty politics or try to pull each other down. We can learn so much from them, right?
Rithvik, the cool host:
Rithvik Dhanjani's fun banter with the kids is one of the highlights of the series. Considering what a cool dancer he himself is, he absolutely has a blast with the kids, which reflects in the proceedings as well. With so much masti on the sets, how can we not get soaked into it too!
