When stand-up comedian Kapil Sharma brought his skit-based comic feature Comedy Nights with Kapil every weekend, we were instantly hooked. Be it his quirky one-liners, instant wit or his good-natured banter with the audiences, he had us in splits from the very beginning. With the comedian-turned-actor on a short break to heal his back, we take you on a roller coaster ride by jotting down some of the funniest moments from the show…take a look: 

When Salman Khan ROFL-ed:  

Yes, this happened. The Bajrangi Bhaijaan of Bollywood laughed his heart out and rolled on the floor with laughter during one of his appearances on the show. He showed up with brother Sohail and actress Daisy Shah to promote Jai Ho. Sallu not only displayed his hilarious side, but was also a good sport who made fun of himself and his brand of filmmaking. Of course, Kapil didn't let go of the opportunity and added fuel to the fire with his sharp comebacks. 

Sunil Gavaskar talking about Srikkanth: 

It really cracked us up, and how! When cricketing ace Sunil Gavaskar turned up on the sets of Comedy Nights, he regaled the viewers with a funny incident involving Krishnamachari Srikkanth. The story (which has Kris trying to avoid looking at a streaker, and then magically hitting fours and sixers!) and Sunny's way of relating it made for an epic moment on the show. Siddu Paaji, needless to say, more than laughed his lungs out with his fellow cricketers. Ha! 

Srikkanth's hilarious Hindi: 

When Kris came on the show, he gave it back to Sunny in one of the most adorable Hindi accents ever. His twang, laced with typical Tamilian nuances, made for a fun episode. The good sport that he is, he took all the comments in his stride. Of course, who can forget his commentary in pure Hindi? We went mental laughing over it. You guys? 

Kapil recounting his marriage: 

We finally got the details about his marriage and the circumstances leading up to it. From his crazy sisters-in-law to his ever sexually active father-in-law and madcap rituals, his marriage was a rather funny affair. It's no wonder that he and his wife, Manju, are constantly at loggerheads. But we do feel that Kapil goes overboard while criticising his wife's pouty lips. What say, people?
