#HappyFathersDay: TV beauties talk about their daddies

TV beauties talk about their daddies

Papa ki pari hu main....This song rightly depicts the feeling of a daughter.

A girl is a princess not because she has a prince, but because her father is her king.

TV’s leading ladies have never shied away from publicly expressing their love for the most important men in their lives… their fathers. These divas have grown up to rule the hearts of millions of fans. But for their fathers, they are still their little princesses.

On Father’s Day, TV actresses talk about their daddies.

Preetika Rao

My dad has always been quite a dictator. He has a strong disciplinarian side to him, which is reserved for his children and that can never change. He has a fantastic sense of humour and a regal personality. He has never spoilt-pampered me. He doesn't buy me gifts or splurge his money on me although he is a millionaire. He wants me to earn my own money, become independent and come out more prudent in life and I really admire him for his vision and wisdom.

Shikha Singh

My father is no more, but I do have a lot of memories with him, which will always be with me. My dad and I were very close and like every girl, he was my hero and I was his princess. I always wanted to impress him and was very possessive about him so once for his birthday I had collected money and bought him an audio cassette of ‘Papa Kehte hai’ so that he could play in the car. I was hardly nine then but was very excited about it. And now I don't have my father with me for Father's Day but I have my father-in-law who is as lovely as my dad. We share our own special bond and I pray and hope for his well being and good health. I am planning to spend quality time with him and cook something for him on as he loves trying out new food.

Tanya Sharma

My dad is in Andaman and Nicobar as he has a transferable job. I share an amazing bond with him and is a buddy to me. I am definitely going to miss him this Father's day as we are not celebrating but I just want to thank him for being the best daddy.

Asmita Sood

My relationship with my father is very special. He has always been my inspiration, my guide and someone I look up to. Yes, I plan special surprises for him often. On his 50th birthday, I had planned a surprise for him. This Father’s Day, since I am travelling in Himachal, I am going to make sure to be in Shimla on that day to spend time with him.

Rachana Parulkar

My dad is the most amazing person I could have ever come across in my life. We both share a great understanding. He is chilled out and I don’t have to think twice before speaking to him or feel awkward about anything. He is encouraging, humble and calm and that's what I have inherited from him. I look up to him as my strength. I know that even my boyfriend or husband ( however good he may be) can't keep me the way my dad has. He is a man of substance, grace, class and values. I love him to the moon and back and I can't hear anything against him. I just want to express my gratitude. Happy Father's Day, BABA. Love you.

I am sure all the daughters must feel the same! I am still a kid for my dad. He still pulls my cheeks, wakes me up with a hug, wishes me all the best even if I am going for an audition, prays for me, worries for me, never scolds me even if I am wrong, not even my bills are to be paid! I can't thank him enough for pampering me always, I love him to the core. I do plan surprises for him. In fact, he expects such treats as he is also filmy like me! This article will definitely surprise him as he loves to read Tellychakkar.com. It's always impromptu with me and my brother. We plan surprises together. Let’s see…

Shivya Pathania

I get numb when I think of writing or saying something about my papa. He calls me his ‘oxygen’ and undoubtedly my soul resides in him or I can quote it like this ‘I am just a body but my soul resides in him.’ The greatest surprise for my father this year was when he saw the promos of my new show, I could feel the emotion when he called me up and said, “Maine promo dekha, I am so proud of you.” For me, every day is Father's Day. He is my lifeline. I am still his 2-year-old daughter and I just wish to be the same for him forever.

Vrinda Dwada

My father is quite type of a person, he doesn’t express much. We both understand each other well. I am very attached to him. We both have the same nature. I get affected if he is unwell or something. I love giving surprises and I have planned for all his birthdays. He is a very simple person…I have not planned anything but I will give him a special gift on that day. I love him a lot as he is my world. Happy Father’s Day!
