Having tied the knot in January this year, the couple is currently enjoying their conjugal life.

Here we have the couple, Sanaya and Mohit sharing their thoughts on what they love about their marriage.

Here have a fun reading....

Sanaya

Our shooting schedules keep us busy and sometimes, that means being apart for a few days. The old adage of ‘distance makes the heart grow fonder’ resonates perfectly with us. Sometimes when we haven’t been able to spend time together, he will do small things to pamper me – surprise flowers, breakfast in bed, date nights and the like.

I remember when I first visited Mohit’s home I was surprised to find it spotless and well-maintained. I was both amazed and impressed! It was evident that he was someone who was very meticulous and, I appreciate this trait. He is someone who brings method to the madness and is organized. I can count on him to not be one of those stereotypical husbands who can never find their wallets or keys!

Of course, his penchant for being super organized and clean is also a huge help around the house! We have divided our cleaning duties. We have made a real effort to do tasks together – managing the bills, cooking when we’re both at home, cleaning, laundry, we each are involved in the household chores. I think he secretly enjoys doing the laundry because it is so easy to do – he just has to add in the right amount of Ariel and start the washing machine! Ariel makes it easier to share the load and it allows him to indulge in his neat-freak side with little effort.

I love that I always have a date! No matter what the occasion – a friend’s wedding or a new movie that’s released, he’s my favourite +1.

People often say that in a marriage it’s difficult to take decisions that keep both partners happy. But, I love the process of taking decisions together – sitting down together, discussing it, the banter. You get to learn more about your partner, and every decision you take together, brings you closer, making the marriage stronger.

It’s a great feeling to come home to someone! I have lived on my own for a long time before I married Sanaya – and I must say, I look forward to being greeted by her happy, smiling face at the door.

Sometimes, I think Sanaya’s favourite hobby is feeding me. She has been experimenting in the kitchen, trying new recipes. She’s a good cook, so dinner is always a treat for me.

And, of course, since she’s taken charge of the cooking, I find other ways to share the load with her. I help out around the house with the cleaning and we’ve worked out a system to share the household chores – I try to take-up laundry as often as I can. It’s just so easy with Ariel. The fun and laughter that you share when you share the load is what makes your house even more beautiful.

Like a dutiful wife, she will always call me when I’m away on shoot to ask me how I’m doing and when I will get home. I absolutely adore that.

Her smile makes everything worth it – whether it is greeting me when I get back home or the one I get when I help out with cleaning or the laundry or get her a surprise. Her smile is my biggest motivator and the best reward!

Awww...aren’t they just too cute???
