Actors across the entertainment industry are furious with the government’s decision to bring them under the service tax umbrella from 1 July 2012. Especially those who are earning more than Rs 1 million annually. Their income will be calculated after including their acting remuneration/salary, endorsement and appearance fees.
We got in touch with some TV actors and got their reaction on what many called an outrageous move.
