If you’re not grateful to your guru, you’re doing everything wrong. He/she prepares you for life like no other. Whether you consider your guru, family, parents or friends as teachers, today’s the day to pay them the tribute they deserve. On Teacher’s Day, TV stars talk about their special teacher. Take a look:
Ruslaan Mumtaz
Apart from my teachers, I have learnt a lot from my director Satish Kaushik. He is one person whose passion towards acting, direction and films have always inspired me. He is someone who always looks ahead and is optimistic. He's grounded and ambitious. In fact, I have inculcated these values in me through my years of interaction with him. He's a friend, philosopher and guide to me.
Giaa Manek
In my case, it won't be fair to name just one person since I have learnt a great deal of things from a lot of people. They are my elders in my family and few close friends. I feel whenever you meet really good people, they bring out the best in you and influence your life in an amazing way.
Kanchi Singh
My dad has always taught me how to be down to earth. He is my real teacher.
Rafi Malik
My parents, as they have taught me everything.
Roop Durgapal
Apart from my teachers, I have learnt a lot from my parents, both of them are self-made, hardworking & extremely honest professionals. From my mother, who is herself a professor, I learnt that it is extremely important to be well educated and financially independent, while my father taught me the importance of serving people selflessly whenever we get a chance. He being a doctor and gets ample chances to do that. I feel grateful to God for being born as their daughter.
Neha Saroopa
My Mom is my best teacher. She has taught me so much in life. I want to thank her on this special day.
Esha Chawla
My brother is my inspiration. He is elder to me and has always showed me the right path in life. I look up to him.
Wishing all the teachers a very happy Teacher’s Day!
