TV actors and their favourite summer drinks
With the scorching heat and the bright sun burning upon us this summer, we need chillers to cool us down. In the time of the year when the sun is at its furious best, we speak to actors about their favourite summer drinks and how they beat the heat. Surbhi Jyoti: Mango shake is my favourite drink during summers. Mango is my favourite fruit and it is very tasty. Divyanka Tripathi: My favourite summer drink is coconut water as it is a very good way to replenish your body when dehydrated due to the scorching heat. Also, it is high on nourishment of skin and soothing for stomach too. Param Singh: I am very health conscious and consume a lot of green tea. But because it is so hot, I prefer drinking coconut water as it is healthy and tasty. Karan Tacker: I do not like much of sugary drinks so I would opt for water. I consumer nearly 6 to 7 liters of water to keep myself hydrated throughout the day. Another summer drink which I love is a Punjabi drink called Shikanji. The drink is basically nimbu paani with a dash of roasted cumin powder. Kunwar Amar: I basically love drinking juices. And with Mango ruling the summers, how can I avoid the fruit. I love indulging in mango shakes and juices. Aashish Chaudhary: I prefer drinking fresh juices and water. I generally stay away from artificial flavoured drinks; not because of the calories but because it is not very healthy. So, I start my day having three vegetable juices (pumpkin and tomato juice, Karela juice and carrot and beetroot juice) so that I do not miss out on the vegetarian nutrition being a hard core non-vegetarian. I love coffee and I need a cup of hot coffee in the evening. Vrinda Dawda: My favourtie summer drink is practically everything which is made using mango. Mango being my favourite fruit, I specially wait for summers to roll out so I can relish the fruit completely. Ragini Khanna: I love drinking watermelon juice and fresh lime juice. I feel it is light and very rejuvenating. Rubina Dilaik: I relish sipping on coconut water during this season. Unfortunately, I cannot relish mangoes as I am allergic to it. The fruit contains a lot of heat and I suffer stomach and heat related problems on consumption. Rajbeer Singh: I am very particular about my diet. I make sure I consume more of proteins in my diet. So if it is anything that I relish consuming during summers is a glass of lassi.
