Aadesh Chaudhary- I used to love eating Mathura ke pedas during Makar Sankranti. I enjoyed kite flying during growing up years. Whole day we used to fly kites with friends and family. With years the habit stopped as I came to Mumbai to make my career.

Vishal Singh- Makar Sankranti festival is celebrated in my home town on a big level like other festivals. We have pooja at our home and my mom makes some really nice sweets for the family. Til ka laddoo is my favourite during this festival. I remember in my childhood, along with my friends, I used to fly kites the whole day.

Ssharad Malhotraa- I was a pro at flying kites and have also participated in kite flying competitions. The sky looks colourful and as a child it used to amaze me. I love to eat sweets especially kale til ke ladoo and dal ka pakodas which are usually eaten on Makar. I would be shooting so I hope I get to fly kites as well during the lunch break. The child in me always feels good when the kite flying day comes.

Saurabh Raaj Jain- We used to go to Qutub Minar with friends in Delhi and have a great time flying kites together. Also savouring Indian sweets was a sheer delight as a child.

Piyush Sahdev- As a child I and my brother experienced a magical moment when we saw something on the sky like Aladdin and his magical carpet while flying kites. We were really awestruck and zapped witnessing it. Every time I see kites on sky, I remember that moment. Makar Sankranti reminds me of eating gajar ka halwa.

Jay Soni-  I used to stay the whole night tying kanni to kites so that I would always be the first person to go on the terrace. I used to eat a lot of chikki during those days. Kite flying thoughts make me nostalgic about those carefree childhood days.

Mrunal Jain- Kite flying has always been a pleasure. My mom makes amazing ladoos which I look forward to relish during Makar Sankranti. The festival means a colorful day full of fun and masti on the roof.

Shivin Narang- I used to fly kites with my father. Delhi is amazing in terms of the festival. For a whole week, families get together and enjoy flying kites together. I used to enjoy sitting on the roof bathing in the warm sun rays in cold winters and sipping on hot chai with pakodas made by mom.

Happy Makar Sankranti to all our wonderful readers.
