The bond that is once shared and memories then treasured makes the relation more compelling. The affiliation between a brother and a sister has to be such that love is to be expressed endlessly and the enthusiasm should be shared amongst each other. The television celebrities did dig deep down to their memory lanes and enjoyed recollecting their previous Raksha Bandhan memories. They certainly did have some exuberant and enthusiastic memories to share. Have a look.
Tina Dutta: My brother’s name is Debraj Dutta. My most memorable Raksha Bandhan celebration was back then when I used to spend time with my all cousins and family members. This year I won’t be able to spend quality time with them due to my hectic schedules. However I will make sure that he receives a rakhi from me. Also for this festive day my favourite bollywood song to be played will be behna ne bhai ki kalai mein pyar bhanda hai.
Divyanka Tripathi: My brother, Aishwarya Tripathi gifted me a Barbie doll for the previous Raksha Bandhan and I had been craving for it for quite a long time. It was then when he had been to Mumbai, this year I will be sending him a rakhi and a set of his favourite brownies. If at all I had a chance to sing for him I would love singing bhaiya more rakhi ke bandhan ko nibhana.
Aniruddh Dave: I have a sister whose name is Paridhi and I would never give her the share of money and chocolates that my dad used to give me to shell it out to her during my childhood days. In fact I used to start crying. I ended up getting emotional on the day of Raksha Bandhan, even though we had our silly quandaries. I am a sweet heart to all my twelve cousin sisters. This year I won’t be celebrating Raksha Bandhan with her since I am shooting in Mauritius. She hasn’t to worry about the gift though. (giggles)
Avinesh Rekhi: It’s a sad thing that I don’t have a real sister to celebrate rakhi with but I do have many cousin sisters who have never made me realise this and this time I will be celebrating with them in Chandigarh. The gifts will be as per their choice. This time I am going take them for shopping.
Siddhant Karnick: I have five amazing cousin sisters to be with. Monice, Shreya, Shaina, Piya and Maya share a great bond with me. My most memorable rakhi celebration was last few years back. Back then I was not earning much and I could afford to give them only 101 rupees as shagun and in return every sister gave me 501 Rupees. That is one day which I am never going to forget. I am going to make sure that whenever we are going to meet the next time we will celebrate to the fullest.
Ankit Gera: My sweet little sister Richa Gera and I have many treasured memories. My most memorable rakhi celebration was when I was in school I made a rakhi greeting card for her and the moment I gave it to her she showed it to everyone. Well although everyone made a mockery out of it they appreciated my efforts, which was a good thing to do. This year we will be spending time together in Delhi. My sister is fond of clothes and thus I would be planning to gift her a nice dress on this Raksha Bandhan.
Happy Raksha Bandhan to everyone!!!
