MUMBAI: Megha Dhade, winner of Bigg Boss Marathi, is an actress and producer in Marathi cinema. Megha was announced as the winner of Bigg Boss Marathi Season 1 on Sunday. She took home prize money of Rs. 18.60 lakh along with the trophy.
In her initial days, Megha had faced a few months of struggle after she came to Mumbai. She then bagged a role in the iconic Kasautii Zindagii Kay. Subsequently, she appeared in Hindi TV serials such as Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil and Kasturi.

1] Megha was brought up in Jalgao in Maharashtra. The journey from Jalgao to Mumbai was not easy for her. She had to face many restrictions at home, and her parents were against her acting career.
2] Megha’s struggle began when she got pregnant before marriage. She was just a teenager at the time, and her father passed away after hearing the news of her pregnancy. She was termed the reason for her father’s death.
3] She had to sleep on a railway platform for four nights, as she didn’t have a place to stay.
4] She had an arranged marriage. She was her partner’s second wife. He had a son from the first marriage, and she slowly built a relationship with him.
5] Megha started her acting career during her school days itself; she used to act in plays. When she came to Mumbai, she got a role in a Hindi daily soap. Her hobbies include cooking and travelling, and her favorite destination is Goa.
