Why SAB TV's YARO is a 'new-age' show on TV

SAB TV's YARO

The show, Y.A.R.O ka Tashan on SAB TV is set to enter the comedy space on the small screen, thanks to its interesting theme and a plot that children would connect well to. It’s the ultimate show to tune into; where a robot fills the void of a child…we tell you why it’s the new-age show on TV right now.

Robot, the perfect child:

Since Mr and Mrs Agarwal (Rakesh Bedi and Malini Kapoor) don’t have a child, he brings home a lab-made robot as their son. The robot becomes a part of his family and eventually his life. The show promises to take us through the many phases of their bonding. Aren’t you guys excited about that?

Real emotions:

If you thought that humanoids lacked emotions, you are so wrong because Y.A.R.O (Aniruddh Dave) is a robot with genuine emotions. He bond with his parents like a son would. In fact, his relationship with the children of the building is unique and honest too. While the adults are slightly apprehensive about the robot, kids warm up to him in a jiffy! Added to that are his qualities as a friend. He is a true friend who we all crave for.

Superpowers for the good:

He’s not an evil robot, but an innocent one who uses his superpowers for the good. He might be new-age, but he also strives for the betterment of the society. Isn’t that what a cool hero is supposed to be like?

His artificial heart will inspire us to be pure too:

He comes fitted with an artificial heart, which is pure and innocent like a five-year-old’s. He initially doesn’t know anything about his special powers, but understands it slowly…over the course of the show. We can all learn to be happy and positive like Y.A.R.O too, right?

Technology is the highlight:

The show pays homage to technological advancement, with the robot learning to be like a human. Even though he misinterprets many of the emotions, he tries hard to fit in, which is incredibly sweet. We can do so much with the right kind of technology, isn’t it?

Y.A.R.O Ka Tashan launches tonight and will air Monday to Friday at 7.30 pm.
