Real funny stories:
The stories are user-generated…in other words; stories and plots have been submitted on website, Twitter, email, on-ground activities, which have been converted into mini -series of episodes. That’s truly the highlight of the series as our everyday incidents are being made into themes that will be enjoyed by fans. What more of a trip do we want, eh?
Hatke concept:
The concept of non-cliched and hatke stories is itself new for the TV space. Throw in user-generated stories and you’ve a winner on hands. After all, there’s no continuity issue, and no stretchy plots that go for years. We are already excited about this series…what about you guys?
Every story is unique:
Considering the mini-series format of the show, every story is going to be unique. From setting to topics to plots to treatment, there’s going to be something unique on our TV screens every weekend. The stories are chosen from over 12, 000 entries…you can imagine how colourful and fun each episode is going to be…
Varied humour:
The comedy is intelligent and varied, featuring many shades of humour that’s not limited to over-the-top, loud dialogues or situations. The stories are set against relatable backgrounds, offering us not just a glimpse of typical funny situations, but also peppering those with clean light hearted family humour.
Interesting characters:
The cast is said to be superbly talented too. Well, why not! The show is being helmed by JD Majethia and OMG!..Oh My God director Umesh Shukla. ‘Khidki’s’ cast will feature a set of recurring actors like Sarita Joshi, Rajeev Mehta and Lubna Salim to name a few who will portray different characters in different stories, along with narration by host JD Majethia. The actors have to live up to real incidents, and they won't disappoint. WOW!
Khidki’s first story on “Anju Ki Shaadi” will air on SAB TV tonight at 9.30pm.
