Are you enjoying the FIFA World Cup matches?

Oh yes. I am sleep deprived, fatigued but I don’t miss a single game. Let me list you my favourite moments so far. First would be Robin Van Persie’s header, amazing saves by Mexican goalie Guillermo Ochoa, Suarez’s bite, Pepe’s red card, small teams toppling the big ones and many more (smiles). Now you know how much I love the game.

Do you like football more than cricket?

I hate cricket. It has become more of a reality show now. Too many controversies have killed the game’s appeal. To the contrary, football is more pacey and entertaining.

There was a time when disturbing lines and unclear picture quality was the way of life. Today technology has moved leaps and bounds giving crystal clear picture quality with HD TVs and set top boxes, within the comforts of our homes. Have you opted for any of these?

By all means. I use the replay and rewind features on to enjoy the matches better. I also watch TV shows on HD.

Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi- Your favourite player?

Oh, though I love Cristiano Ronaldo scoring a goal and taking off his shirt and exposing his super sexy body, Messi would be my ‘the’ favourite player. He is a great professional and yet so humble. I read somewhere that he has been suffering from hormone deficiency syndrome and at the age of 13 he moved to Spain when club FC Barcelona agreed to pay for his treatment as his parents couldn’t afford the cost. Such a touching and inspiring story of his.

Who do you think will win the cup?

It’s a tough one but I think it will either be Argentina or Belgium.
