MUMBAI: Savi tells Asmita and Anvi that she doesn’t want to interfere, but she saw Anvi upset during function yester; Is there any problem. Asmita says there is a problem, Anvi’s exams are going on and her studies are disturbed due to functions at home, so she wants to go and study at her friend’s house. She takes her to give old photos for collage. Ishaan over phone chats with someone and says he knows that opening a medical college wing is very important for Yashwant. Apsara tries to taste him her prepared recipe, but Ishaan walks away confusing Apsara. Shikha says everyone at home are upset regarding medical college wing. Savi says she will handle this.

Savi walks to Ishaan and shows her bruised hands due to allergy. Ishaan asks what is it. Savi says today is Yashwant and Surekha’s Kelvan ritual where everyone is preparing their own dishes for Yashwant and Surekha, and since her hands are bruised because of Ishaan, she wants him to help her cook something for the couple. Ishaan hesitantly agrees after much argument. He walks to kitchen. Shikha asks what is he doing in kitchen. Asmita says if he needs anything. Ishaan says he wants to help Savi in cooking. Shikha says they are there for that. Savi signals them. Shikha says he can. Ishaan says since Savi’s hands are bruised due to mehandi allergy, he wants to help her. Apsara says he has gone on his mother who used to help her in cooking.

Ishaan asks Savi what she wants to cook. Ladies at once say barleli vangi/brinjal dish. Savi offers Ishaan to wear chef’s apron and cap and he wears it hesitantly. Ladies say he looks cute in chef’s attire. Savi explains her recipe. Ishaan says that is not how it’s make and explains his recipe. Their argument starts. He says he will cook and see how it’s made and asks everyone to move aside. He prepares dish like a pro. Savi smiles recalling Shikha informing her t hat she heard via Asmita that Ishaan used to cook food enthusiastically in his childhood. Shikha says Ishaan is cooking like an expert and praises Savi for convincing Ishaan for cooking. Apsara says she can see a big smile on Ishaan’s face after a long time, he is enjoying cooking.

Savi tastes dish and says it’s very tasty. Ishaan also tastes it and says it needs garlic tadka, he will do it as he enjoyed cooking after a long time. Reeva feels disheartened seeing Ishaan and Savi’s chemistry. She walks to Ishaan and says let him do it. Ishaan says it’s okay as he is helping Savi. Reeva says she would have helped Savi. Savi thanks her for offering help and asks what is a problem if Ishaan helped a bit. Yashwant walks in and shouts he has a problem, how can a Bhosale institute director cook food, he worked hard to get Ishaan to this position, Ishaan is not a cook to do all this. Surekha tries to interfere. Yashwant shouts not to interfere and asks Ishaan to reach college instead of wasting his time. He scolds Surekha for supporting Ishaan and asks if she wants men to cook and women to work in college, he will not let that happen.

Surekha yells at Savi for making Ishaan cook and asks if she wants Ishaan to roam behind her like a puppet. Ishaan says it’s not like that. Surekha says Savi is trying to make him dance on her tune. Savi says she didn’t. Surekha says that is what she did and asks if the family women are dead that a man is cooking. Savi says women have reached moon today, they go out and work, that doesn’t mean men are dead. Surekha shouts to shut up, she needs discipline at home, Ishaan’s duty is to work outside the house.

Savi asks her to taste Ishaan’s prepared food and tell if he knows to cook or not. Ishaan asks what is she doing. Savi says she just wants Surekha to taste the dish. Surekha says she will slap her. Savi tickles her and makes her taste dish and asks how is it. Surekha says it’s tasty, that doesn’t mean she will make Ishaan cook food and Ishaan does anything that makes Yashwant angry. Ishaan sadly removes his apron and apologizes her on Savi’s behalf, he will apologize even Yashwant as he knows what Yashwant expects from him and he will not disappoint Yashwant.
