Dignity of labour!

Dignity of labour! Who can be better advocates of 'dignity of labour' than Saakshi Tanwar and Aman Verma! The duo has been selling mangoes… so what if they are doing it the electronic way? They are regularly spotted on a local cable channel in Mumbai giving details on how the mangoes were ripened and chosen to be brought into the market. The promos have scenes of mango farms and factory where the mangoes are worked upon. Are they laid back on work front or are they trying their skills at marketing? Hey Ekta are you watching!

Gauri to head Special Squad Gauri Pradhan, who recently quit her hospital bed in Star Plus' Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhie Bahu Thi, will make an entry into Star One's Special Squad on 9 May as the head of the squad. Her look will be entirely different from the soft demure saree-salwar kameez clad Nandini in Kyunki.... She will be wearing smart suits that show her as a no-nonsense cop. She will be part of a series that will deal with unsolved cases. Remeber the series in CID? Two much to lead! Ever heard of an actress playing the lead in more than one serial at a time? Well, Sonpari's fairy godmother Mrinal Kulkarni seems to have bagged just that! Mrinal will soon be seen in two serials as the lead - one in a soon to be launched Contiloe production on Star One and another in a Sagars' show on Zee TV, also to launch shortly. Mrinal, by the way, has just finished working for Avantika, that had a marathon three and a half year run on Zee Marathi, before winding up last month. In one of the new shows, she is believed to be playing a college professor. Hmmm, will Mrinal turn out to be the Sushmita Sen of Indian television? Supriya's double trouble! Supriya Pathak, who plays Hansa in Star One's popular comedy, Instant Khichadi will appear in a double role in the serial's forthcoming episodes! Hansa, has been an embarrassment for the Parikh parivaar since the serial started. She is the object of ridicule due to her scant or should we say lack of knowledge of the queen's language. This double take spells more trouble for the Pathaks'. 'Shararat' goes outdoors! The cast and crew of Star Plus's popular serail Shararat will soon be going outdoors! Primarily shot indoors, this is only the second time that the members of this very naughty 'witchy' family moves out of the security of their home. The family had gone out last year around this time to shoot in Goa. This time however, it will be aamchi Mumbai. They will shoot for two days in Jogeshwari East --- the reason - the whole family's going out on a camping trip! Mallika brings oomph to Batliwalla household! Mallika Sherawat sure has a soft spot for Star One shows...or should we say it's fun lovin' producer JD Majethia that she is fond of! After a yet-to-be-aired cameo in Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, Mallika is now all set to appear in JD's other show on Sony, Batliwalla, House No. 43. Famous for her sex appeal, the show will test Mallika's comic skills to the T. Mallika has already shot for an episode that features her as a conwoman who cheats the suave Maya in Sarabhai...She will appear in the show to promote her forthcoming film, Bachke Rehna Re Baba. Summer sure looks hot on telly this summer!
