Dimpy and Rahul Mahajan have separated: Is it true?

Rahul Mahajan and Dimpy Ganguly
We don’t like when love stories go sour. But we have to report on it being in the business of entertainment. Now, rumour mills have been abuzz for quite some time with the news of married couple Rahul Mahajan and Dimpy Ganguly going separate ways. Their love story started on the sets of Imagine TV’s Swayamvar, wherein Dimpy wooed Rahul, as part of the show’s content, and later they got married. But issues kept cropping up in their relationship and Dimpy even opened up on being physically abused by Rahul. Things did settle down soon after and they got back together. In fact, last they were seen having fun on the sets of Nach Baliye Season 5. But suspicion crawled into our head when in the season 6 of Nach Baliye, Rahul made an appearance all alone, sans his baliye Dimpy. On checking with Rahul he clarified, “Dimpy likes travelling and she was on a foreign trip. And I couldn’t accompany her as my passport is with the court.” Fair enough! We bought what Rahul had to say and moved on. However, a few months later we once again heard a buzz about Dimpy staying in Kolkata with her parents away from Rahul since a long time. In fact, our source even told us that Dimpy was contemplating divorce. “They have not been staying together for a long time. She is with her parents. They have not been spotted together at parties and events since a long time and divorce is very much on the cards,” said the source. Armed with this bit of info, we buzzed Dimpy. She started off by stating that she is very much in a relationship with Rahul and they are happily married. So where was she during the Nach episode? “I couldn’t accompany him on Nach as I had already committed my date to a fashion show in Kolkata. Everything was finalised there much before that is why I couldn’t bail myself out to be with Rahul on Nach,” said the lady. But didn’t Rahul mention she was out of country at that point of time? Sounds rather strange that two married souls would not know about each other’s whereabouts. “He must have got confused with India’s Dancing Superstar, a show which we were offered to be a part of,” clarified Dimpy. Hmm… Here we would like to mention that the couple, though staying apart, maintained a rather healthy social relationship…we mean they kept chatting with each other on Twitter and other social networking platforms. However, their virtual banter too reduced a lot with time. “If you guys really think that not sharing or talking with Rahul on Twitter means a stressed relationship, then I really want to laugh at you. I don’t share tweets with anybody, and that’s very evident from my profile, I guess. Neither am I regular on it, the only thing that I really am hooked on to is BBM (Blackberry Messenger), and that’s all. I can’t have more than one social networking site haunting me all the time,” said Dimpy. She further added, “I live with Rahul, meet him every day, I am around him all the time, and still if I need to tweet to him on a social networking site just to ward off some gossip columnist, I think I have better things to do in life.” Someone sounds pi**ed!!! When we spoke to Rahul few days back on the same issue, he too rubbished all talks as rumours. If at all everything is rumour, then the couple should not be bothered at all. We wish them a happy life ahead!!! But soon after we asked Dimpy about "less interaction" on Twitter, she immediately hit the social networking site. Well done!!!
