My Sir Husband !

Our poor viewers have learnt to digest the extravagant and unconventional on-screen names of our telly stars. However, this one is a bit too hard to swallow. Our demure Kasturi, played by Shubhangi Atre, calls her husband as Ronak Sir. This was acceptable when the duo didn't tie the knot. However, post marriage, this is hard to understand. When quizzed about it, Shubhangi replied, "This just reflects her innocence. Prior to her marriage, Kasturi worked for the Sabharawals (as if we didn't know this), so she addressed them as sirs. However, in one of the recent episodes, Ronak has asked Kasturi to stop addressing him as Sir Ronak." It indeed is nice to hear this, but we just hope that Kasturi is pe Kayyam rahe!
