He is an inspiration to many. He is the epitome of hardwork and creativity.

We are talking about digital star, Bhuvan Bam, who wears many creative hats and excels at all. His Youtube channel BB Ki Vines has over million subscribers (**whistle whistle**) and the numbers are amplifying with each passing day.
Bhuvan is widening his professional ambit and will soon be seen in a web-series called Bro Court, in association with SAB Group. For more on his new venture and other titdbits…sit back, relax and continue reading. Excerpts:
Who is Bhuvan Bam: a singer, actor, writer…what is your forte?
That’s an interesting question. The truth is I am the Jack of all trades (laughs). Having said that, I like variety in life. You can call me an entertainer.
So you write, edit, act in your videos in BB Ki Vines? So much talent…
(blushes) True, I am the one who does everything in the channel. I guess I am gifted.
How did you conceive the idea of BB Ki Vines?
(thinking) I was watching a news debate and the anchor said something funny. I, out of randomness, shot a satire and uploaded on Youtube. It received tremendous response. Thus, I started to publish more such content and within no time, I got an audience. It started as passion and turned into profession.
Did you always want digital to be the space to explore?
It happened naturally. Digital gives you the freedom to express without any inhibition. Digital for me is the place to be. I am glad that I began my journey in the digital medium.
People would love to know how much money you make on your channel? Are you super rich?
(laughs) No way…don’t believe on whatever hogwash is there on the net. Yes, I do make a living but I am not super rich. Having said that, if you are creative, passionate and hardworking, you can explore the medium and make money. Be your own boss.
Inspiring!!! Spreading wings, you are launching a web series with SAB network, Bro-Court on Happii-fi. Tell us more about it…
Bro-Court is one-of-its-kind joyful comedy which explores the complexities of engineering college life amongst bros. It is a place in which whoever violates the Bro Code is brought to Justice at the Bro Court. With an engineering backdrop every episode of the Bro Court series will address the violation of the Bro Codes in the Bro Vidhaans to tickle your funny bone like no other web series. It fun unlimited. Guaranteed.
Recently, you won an award at WebTVAsia Awards (Most Popular Channel). Does it motivate you or scare you, for expectations reach sky high?
Each recognition is motivating and overwhelming. It’s enriching. Par bahut kuch karna hain abhi…Expectations will always increase, so I have to continue working hard to bring out good content.
Amen!!! Tell us something about your thoughts on digital platform and the sudden mushrooming of OTT medium. Would you like to collaborate with such initatives or you will continue to fly solo…you did join hands with TVF recently?
There is still a lot to be explored in the medium. No one really knows what’s next. The audience is diverse and increasing rapidly. Yes, big networks have entered and would continue to make its presence felt. Having said that, the beauty of the space is such that each content finds its own audience. No matter what amount of marketing, only good content will survive in digital. There is a mad rush now, but eventually the dust will settle and only good content will find its place in the ecosystem. Content is and will always be the king.
Which other channel or digital star you feel is a competitor or an inspiration?
Everyone is an inspiration. We all are working hard to nurture the space. I have worked with TVF in couple of projects. I strongly believe in collaboration, not competition.
Who is your favourite BB Ki Vines character?
It has to be Ranchhoddas. He is someone who could be your neighbor, or best friend or anyone. He is like you and me. He is my favourite.
Do you watch TV soaps..naagins and chudails fascinate you?
Not at all. I don’t watch TV and would never want to associate with such shows ever in my life. Not my cup of tea.
What about movies?
Certainly. Movies are a great medium but nothing in hurry. Time will come.
What can fans expect next from Bhuvan Bam?
Lots of interesting videos and fun content, specially on Bro Court. Do watch it and let me know your valuable feedback.
