I consider my mom to be one of my sisters: Shakti Mohan

Shakti Mohan-Kusum Sharma

She is a force to be reckoned with.

Superbly talented and versatile, Shakti Mohan is an inspiration to her legions of fans.

When she dances, the world watches in awe and admiration.

Shakti, who shot to fame with Dance India Dance, went on to spread her wings featuring in item songs and television shows.

Apart from being an ace professional, this young talent has another side to her. She is a loving sister and a loving daughter.

Growing up along with three other siblings, this lady shares a beautiful bond with her mother, Kusum Sharma, and sisters (Neeti, Mukti and Kriti).

As we chatted with Shakti, she opened up about her special moments with mommy dear.

“I am very much connected to my mom. With my mother being a cool, chilled out parent I share everything with her. At time I feel that rather than being my mom, she is another sister of mine. We are quite alike, having similar tastes.”

Sharing a secret about her mom, Shakti said, “Being health conscious, we diet a lot and try to keep ourselves away from ghee and butter. My mom, on the other hand, feels that we don’t eat properly and hence, she secretly mixes ghee and such items in our food (laugh).”

Shakti went on to add, “Another secret about my mom is that she is a cleanliness freak and whenever she finds time she keeps cleaning our home. And somehow, even I have learnt that quality from her.”

Cello’s new heartrending ad campaign (check the video below) made the lady very emotional.

With a bright smile on her face, Shakti continued, “I am very much emotional in life and such ads for sure touches everyone’s heart. I met with an accident long back and was bed ridden for seven months. My mom was right beside me for that span, providing me with emotional support. Such is her love.”

Your bond touched even our heart dear lady.
