It's for the first time Indian television will get to see the glamorous and stunning Priyanka Chopra host a show. She will be among 13 male contestants for the third season of Khatron Ke Khiladi 3. TellyChakkar spoke to her on her preparation, being on television, stunts and handling men. What do you do to stay fit? I am a very lazy person; I hardly exercise. I am thankful to my parents for giving me such a body. It's only now I have started exercising because I will be hosting Khatron Ke Khiladi (KKK). I also have movies like Don 2 coming up and since Lara too is in the movie, I need to look good. With this reality show you are breaking most of the norms in the television industry? I love breaking rules and there is no hard and fast rule that an actor can come on TV only after his or her Bollywood career is over. At present I am doing pretty well in my career and yet I have taken up a reality show. You're the first female host on the Indian television? Yes, I know and I am happy that I will also get compliments for it. I think Indian television is growing everyday and I am really happy about it. KKK also goes with my personality. One thing you are scared of? I am scared of failure. Other things do not scare me. Things like heights, water and cockroaches do not scare me at all. The first two seasons of KKK was hosted by Akshay Kumar. Are you ready for comparisons? Comparisons wouldn't be fare because Akshay is India's Khiladi. I am very happy Akshay did the first two seasons of KKK and the bar has been considerably raised. I am not going to follow a particular pattern as such but going to do things my own way. Will we get to see you perform some stunts? Yes, I will be performing a few hand-picked stunts. But the participants will not get an opportunity to do that (laughs). What kind of physical preparation are you going through? I am just working on my stamina and fitness level. You'd be handling 13 guys on the show do you think it will be easy? No I don't think so. Handling one guy becomes a difficult task here I am going to handle 13! How did you first react when you got the show? I did not want to do TV as I had no time. But, it was KKK and one show I loved watching. And this was just about a 20 day shoot so I thought I could do it. Will you be taking up more TV shows in future? I haven't even started with the shoot of my first show and you are talking about next. Have you tried out some wild sports in your real life? Yes, I have done water rafting, bungee jumping and many more wild sports. I have always loved pushing the envelope a little further. Isn't it some kind of a mental exercise that one goes through while doing such stunts? Yes, it is more mental than physical. But, as I have always been focused and determined things get a lot easier for me. You are one female among 13 male contestants. Won't that be a distraction to them? I intend being a distraction. So, that the task becomes a lot more difficult for them.
