I will not date anyone from the TV industry, especially the actors : Additi Gupta

Additi Gupta
Additi Gupta made a place for herself as Heer in her very first show, Kis Des Mein Hain Mera Dil. She is currently seen playing Pihu in Sanjog Se Bani Sangini and TellyChakkar caught up with her to know more about the person behind the persona. The young actress also celebrates her birthday today and here’s wishing her many more happy ones. A lot of requests for your interview, how does it feel? It feels nice and I feel good about it. People have loved me in Kis Des Mein Hai Mera Dil, which was my first show and they have also appreciated Pihu. They want me back, it feels good. How does it feel when fans demand your comeback in a new show with Harshad Chopda? It feels good actually that they loved me in my first show. They loved Harshad and me, our chemistry as Prem and Heer. They still want to see us together on screen. I can just thank all of them for all the love they showered on me. How is your rapport with Harshad? It is good. We are good friends. Who has been your best co-star till date? I get along well with most of them. But I share a great relationship with Raounaq Ahuja who plays my husband, Abhay in Sangini. I think the moment we met, we got along like a house on fire. Did you feel any kind of pressure while choosing your next role after your first show which was a huge success? Sangini isn’t quite that? Not really. This is not something which is in my hands. I wanted to explore myself. After Kis Des, I thought I should take up something that made me happy and also challenged me. I took a chance with Sangini and I wanted to learn something during the journey. I am a keen learner and Sangini has taught me a lot of things. After Zara Nachke Dikha, any more reality shows? I don’t know about that. I did Zara Nachke Dikha because I wanted to test my dancing skills. But I don’t think reality shows are meant for me. I am not the one who can give them any masala. Are you looking at the big screen too? I think if it comes then why not! I will give it a chance. I don’t have a dream role, so I will take up a role that will excite me since I don’t want to repeat characters. Comedy shows? I don’t know about comedy. I haven’t explored it maybe I will try it though I know it’s not easy. A lot of TV actors prefer to have their life partner from the TV fraternity itself, would you also settle down for this? Never! I will not date anyone from the industry especially actors. I get turned off by their attitude. So are you single? Yes, I am very much single and not ready to mingle. How do you spend your free time? I spend a lot of time in my room watching Dexter on Star World. I am addicted to it. I go out shopping with my mom, watch movies and hang out with friends.
