Shweta Tiwari is back in the spotlight and for a change she's not talking about her personal life but professional life. Dressed in a sexy net sari and sporting a bright smile, Shweta looked at ease with herself. A part of this excitement stems from her upcoming realty show Aajaa Mahi Vay (Star Plus) where she'll be donning the hat of a judge for the very first time. Aajaa.. is a show wherein 11 couples will dance for the most coveted prize i.e. a dream wedding. Tellychakkar caught up with the actress for a brief chat at the show's launch Isn't it a quick transition from contestant to a judge? No, it hasn't been quick. Over the years, I've participated in many dance reality shows and have been exposed to various forms of dancing. I'm going to draw that experience here. Besides, one mustn't' forget that I too am a dancer. Is it right for couples to solemnise their relationship in public? This will truly come as a shock for those families who aren't aware of what their child is up to. It's not that the families aren't aware but a few of them don't approve of their relationship. There's resentment on grounds of religion, caste or economical factors .After all, no parent would like their child to be married to one who is financially insecure. Aaja… presents an opportunity for the couple to show to the world that their love is indeed true. Also, the parents too can gauge whether how much this guy/girl loves their child. What if there's a breakdown in a relationship after the show, then would that not embarrass both the couple and their families? It's better that such a thing takes place before rather than later. Aajaa.. will enable them to find whether they are truly made for each other. Your partner may not good be enough for you to win this contest but that doesn't mean that you break a relation. In that case, you don't trust your partner. How would you react if tomorrow you were to see your child springing a surprise on such a show? That would mean that I've failed as a mother and that I didn't share any rapport with her. I have an eight-year-old daughter whom I've always treated as a friend. I'm sure she would never take such a step without informing me. Your final thoughts on Kasautii Zindagi Kay? All I want to say is that, with Kasautti I was thinking more like Prerna and less of Shweta. With the show going off air, I'm back at being myself. Like most reality shows, will we see squabbling judges here too? Such a situation will only arise when each of us have different opinions. It's here that my experience as a contestant on reality shows will come handy as I know that a critical comment could have a damaging effect on a contestant. I'll refrain from making such comments.
