There are many desirable, attractive and beautiful ladies in the world of television. But one who certainly tops the list is the curvaceous, charming and charismatic Barkha Bisht.
An absolute diva, Barkha (currently seen in Sony TV’s Hanuman) is a yummy mummy, who shares a special relationship with her daughter dear, Meera.
A mother-daughter relationship is so precious that it cannot be described in words. It’s balmy effect on a tiring day. It’s the soothing touch of dew for a parched soul. It’s life giving, life supporting, life sustaining.
To learn more about this special bonding, we spoke to Barkha who shared in her mellifluous voice: “Motherhood has changed me completely. After Meera, life has become all the more beautiful. I think Indraneil (she is married to actor Indraneil Sengupta) and I now feel more complete as a couple. She has added so much happiness in our lives. Today, every little action that Meera does, it automatically reflects upon us too. We are re-living our childhood through Meera.”
So sweet!!!
Is Barkha now a better daughter? “Yes, I am. One tends to take parents for granted and behave or speak out things that can hurt them. You don’t realise all these until you become a parent. I know how much I have irritated my mom and given her a hard time (laughs). But yes, after becoming a mother, I appreciate and respect my mom more. Along with enjoying my motherhood, I am now a better daughter as well.”
Cello recently launched a stirring video beautifully depicting the eternal bond of a maa (mother) and beti (daughter). Talking about such initiatives, Barkha said: “I think whenever I see anything on TV related to mom-daughter relationship, I get emotional. It is such a beautiful relationship that it’s bound to connect with you.”
“I am thankful to have had a good upbringing and I am hopeful of passing similar values and traits to Meera as well,” ended Barkha with a smile.
We wish Barkha, Meera and Indraneil a blissful life ahead.
