Reality shows are stressful: Sambhavna Seth

She is blunt, she is out spoken…but she is still the charm of the small screen. Bold and bindaas Sambhavna Seth, made heads turn with her negative character, Shah Turkan, on &TV’s Razia Sultan.

The actress began her career with Bhojpuri films and later enjoyed a stint on Bigg Boss as well. In a candid chat, Sambhavna Seth speaks about her love for acting, future projects and much more.

How has your acting journey on TV been?
The journey has been fascinating. I never thought I would get into acting. But now I want to explore the medium and play different types of roles. I was not confident enough to take up any TV shows. But I am glad that I started my acting career with Razia Sultan. I worked with amazing people and will miss them a lot. My negative role was appreciated and applauded by a lot of people.

Do you think TV has given you fame?
No, people used to know me as Sambhavna, but TV has given me the tag of an actor. Now, people recognize me as Turkan from Razia Sultan. I feel great as I am known for my work.

Are you still open to Bhojpuri films?
I am still ready to do Bhojpuri movies. I will never refuse offers as whatever I am today is because of my Bhojpuri films.

What type of role do you want to do in the future?
The historical one that I portrayed was very difficult, so now I would love to play more challenging roles. I don’t mind playing any mythological character as they are tough and experimental.

Reality or daily soaps. Which is your pick?
Reality shows are stressful. Also, I think soaps are a little easy to understand. But both are fun and have their own pros and cons.

We wish you a great success ahead, Sambhavna!
