Begum Nawazish Ali, popular cross dresser from Pakistan has now been evicted from the Bigg Boss house. TellyChakkar caught up with her to know more on her experiences in the house, her camaraderie with the inmates and her list of probable winners…
You were missing a lot of things of the outside world in the house which you also mentioned to Salman Khan... So, please tell us what are those things that you will get to do now?
I was missing everything right from watching TV to reading newspapers, using my mobile phone, meeting people. There were people in the house but meeting the same people everyday gets a little boring. There were a lot of restrictions in the Bigg Boss house but now I am free and I can have all the food I want, have drinks and a lot more.
When you moved out of the house you told Salman that if you had to stay in the house for some more time the mask that you were wearing would have come out?
I don’t think I must have said the mask, but yes, if I had to stay in the house for some more time then the things that I was trying to avoid would have come out. I was working on being non-aggressive, avoiding fights and arguments; I was trying to avoid ugliness. If I had to stay a little longer then there would have been chances of me getting frustrated, getting angry and this would have given out a lot of negativity. So, I am happy that my journey in the house was short and sweet.
You had been in the house for 3 weeks and you must have gauged the behaviour of the inmates by now…Share your idea about a few with us?
Ok let’s start with Seemaji (Parihar), I feel she has a lot of chances of winning the show for she does not criticize anybody, does not crib about things and does not even play politics in the house. She is very straightforward and she is not afraid to speak her heart out.
Sameer (Soni) is a nice guy but sometimes he behaves like a politician, he backbites about people and upsets a few with his stupid jokes. He has taken the game too seriously and winning is so important for him that his desperate behavior and edginess is completely visible.
Sara (Khan) is immature, but she is too young as well. But, in her immaturity she does a lot of stupidity that she shouldn’t be doing. Ashmit (Patel) as I always said on the show is my khatta meetha boy for he is just unpredictable. Veena (Malik) is a sweetheart but she is like a kid too and reacts on things she shouldn’t. That is why she gets into arguments with Hrishant.
Shweta (Tiwari) is a diplomatic person and she does not talk straight on the face. Rahul (Bhatt) is a darling but he should interact a little more. For all he talks about is his case. I can’t talk much about Khali because I did not get enough time to interact with him but he is intelligent and he can win the game.
Do you feel that the other contestants were at a disadvantage post Khali’s entry in the house?
Wild card entry is definitely not fair for he entered the house two weeks after we did and by that time everything was well settled. When we entered we had to cope with the new environment and distribute our work get to know people but it wasn’t the same for him.
Who do you want to win the show?
Seemaji, for she has an interesting story. She has stayed in jungles for 14 years and then in jail for four years. She has a family to support look after her own children and also her brothers. Her brother was shot in a police encounter. She deserves to win the game.
You became the captain of the house and also saw all the ups and downs in just three weeks. Comment.
Interestingly three weeks got me everything; all the highs and lows. I have seen all the positivity and also the negativity but in my heart I am happy to have stayed there for three weeks. There are many happy memories that I am taking along for I feel life does not have much its all about meeting people and being nice to them. I have made many good friends in the house and I would want to be in touch with them life long.
Do you think shows like Bigg Boss and Chhote Ustaad are helping our countries come together again?
Media is a very powerful platform. We get information from here and our perceptions change. India and Pakistan are like brothers and I don’t think any other country has got so many similarities like the two and if we start celebrating them together, then the celebrations would never stop.
Would you like to come back on Indian Television?
I would like to be here too but if some nice offers come my way as of now there isn’t any.
How would you rate Salman Khan as a host?
He is superb, even before I met him I had seen a lot of his movies and it was great having a long chat with him. We sat together and spoke for long. Allah unko aur tarakki de.
