"The Award means a lot to me"

Mona Wasu won the fresh face of the year award in the Indian Telly awards this evening. This might not have been her first award of this year nevertheless any award coming her way means a lot to this lovely lady, she says. She reached a mite later at the venue thanks to traffic snarls. Kavita Shyam caught up with the fresh faced and chirpy Mona. So how does it feel to win the fresh face of the year? I am elated to win this award. I am sorry I could not go to the stage to get this award because of my friends who took me elsewhere. Not that they did it purposely, but it was because my friends couldn't get their way to this place. What do the Indian Telly awards mean to you? It's a great show and it means a lot to me. It's very close to my heart. What next for you? I am right now enjoying my winning moment. I am looking at interesting offers from Bollywood.
