Beautiful and sexy Karishma Tanna started her career in the entertainment industry with Star Plus’ Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. She went on to be a part of other television soaps and also featured in many ad campaigns, but of late, she has been missing from action. Well…it is just a lull before the beauty storms her way into the hearts of millions. Yes, she will soon be seen in a movie sharing screen space with Vivek Oberoi. As a guest editor at Tellychakkar.com, I decided to talk to her and chat about her professional and personal life. Excerpts: How has the transition been from television to films? Yes… I have done everything on my merit. There was a time in life wherein I was not seen in the industry and I had lost fame. But now I am getting back in action. Whatever I have achieved in life is through my hard work and I will prove my worth to everyone. The transition has been good. Tell us something about your movie? I will soon be seen in a movie opposite Vivek Oberoi in Ashtavinayak Productions’ Sher. It is directed by Soham Shah. I play a very unique character wherein I will be seen in a role of a Gujarati, desi girl. People will see me in a new avatar. How has been the experience of working with Vivek Oberoi? It’s great. He is a wonderful co-star. It’s a sweet film with true values on life. However, I won’t be seen doing any dance numbers. Apart from work, what’s cooking in your personal life? Well… I am focusing on my career as of now. Tell us something about your fashion mantra? I am comfortable in any attire. I choose my clothes and I love to wear accessories, especially hair bands and pins. My all time favorite brands are Mango and BEBE. Any particular place where you love to shop? London and Milan are my favorite shopping destinations. I love shopping there and my most expensive buy till date is my Rolex watch. Although I love international stuff I love to keep it simple at times and I prefer to wear jeans and ganjiis. My favorite color is white.
