Rithvik Dhanjani
He’s young, talented, and super charming. Known to be Ekta Kapoor’s protégé, Rithvik Dhanjani, part of Zee TV’s Pavitra Rishta, popular reality show Yeh Hai Ashiqui on Bindaas and Nach Baliye 6 on Star Plus, is a promising young individual. In a talk with Tellychakkar.com, Rithvik takes a sneak-peek into his personal life and talks about the importance of money in our Lifestyle section. How important is money to you? I would not talk about how it is more important than relationships and how money cannot buy happiness and other ‘fundas’. Money is very important in life. And currently for me, money is extremely important as I want to buy a house for my parents and see them settled this year itself. I am putting every effort towards it by juggling between three shows viz Pavitra Rishta, Yeh Hai Aashiqui and Nach Baliye 6. Are you an impulsive buyer? I belong to a middle class family and my parents have taught me the importance of money and how to use it wisely. What are the investments that you have made? I have invested in bonds, LIC and other premium policies. What has been your most expensive purchase? It’s my car, a Renault Duster that I bought from my own earning. Do you feel financially secure? Yes I do feel so, but I am not satisfied yet, there is a lot more to be done. Who handles your expenses? My mother handles my expenses. She is one of the best bankers I have come across in my life. What was your first salary? My first salary was when I earned 100 dirhams for a particular event. How much money do you carry every day? I do not carry more than Rs. 1000-1500 of liquid cash a day; I use plastic money. Your advice to new investors? Savings are very important in life.
