A must at my breakfast table… I am not a breakfast person. I skip it many a times but I make it a point to have fruits in the morning.
Sugar or sugarfree for my tea/coffee… Sugar. Earlier, I used to have sugarfree but then someone told me that it is not healthy, so now I have stopped having it. But I only have one spoon of sugar in my beverages.
Lunch generally consists of… Lots of curd, salads and veggies. I do not eat rotis and rice for any meal to avoid carbohydrates.
For high tea I have… biscuits. Sometimes I also have dry nuts.
Dinner generally consists of… chicken. I eat rice and chapattis only occasionally.
Dessert delights… I have a sweet tooth. I love everything in desserts but my favourite is Rossogulla.
One thing I can’t resist… Sweets are something that I can’t resist. I feel like indulging in sweets every night.
My favourtie drink (non-alcoholic)… diet coke.
My favourite drink (alcoholic)… rum.
For a date I usually prefer… red wine with cheese and salads.
At parties, I usually eat… from home and go to the party so that people feel that I eat less. At the most, I eat salads at parties but nothing beyond that.
Experiment with food? No, I stick to basic food. Trying to experiment with my food, I once ordered a duck liver in France and it tastes so bad.
Most unusual dish I’ve tasted… I once had a snake in Singapore. While eating it, I did not know that it is a snake. I assumed that it is some unusual kind of fish. The chef had specially prepared it for me. After completing the meal, he told me that it was a dish cooked with snake.
On the streets, I love to have… Aloo chaat. I like eating from the streets of Amritsar and Kolkatta.
One place I would never eat again… I would never visit again is the restaurants of France after eating the duck liver from there. If I go there, I will probably carry biscuits and Maggi noodles.
Do you cook? Yes. I love to cook. I either cook lunch or dinner daily. It is me and my mom who cook at home. We don’t let the maid cook food.
Your favourite recipe... Baked eggs. It is simple and tasty.
Make a regular red masala with tomatoes, onions and garlic.
Break 4-5 eggs and add in it.
Cover with the lid and let it cook for sometime.
Garnish it with grated cheese and coriander leaves.
