Kratika Sengar, who rose to fame playing Rani Lakshmibai in Jhansi Ki Rani and Aarti in Punar Vivah on Zee TV, gives us some tips on investment. How important is money to you? It’s very important. Are you an impulsive buyer? I am both an impulsive and a compulsive buyer. What are the investments that you have made? I have invested a lot in properties. What has been your most expensive purchase? My most expensive purchase till date would be my own flat. However, I would not like to disclose the amount. Do you feel financially secure? Yes. Who handles your expenses? While I handle my expenses, my CA handles my accounts. What was your first salary? Well, that was in 2007 when I was working with an advertising agency. Then I was paid a monthly stipend of Rs 12,000. How much money do you carry every day? I believe in carrying both my credit and debit cards along with some cash that I always keep handy. Your advice for new investors? I would like to tell them that this is the time to make money and not splurge. So, make the best of the money you have made and secure your future.
