MUMBAI: Women's national cricket team captain Mithali Raj’s fans and netizens are singing praises of her latest accomplishment.

The cricketer, who made her international debut against Ireland in an ODI game back in June 1999, has become the second woman to score 10,000 runs in international cricket. With this achievement, she has joined England’s Charlotte Edwards in the elite club.

Fans are going gaga over Mithali and lauding her for this milestone.

The official handle of INDIA Women's Cricket Team wrote on Twitter, “#TeamIndia cut a cake for ODI captain @M_Raj03, who became the first Indian woman batter to score Keycap digit oneKeycap digit zero,Keycap digit zeroKeycap digit zeroKeycap digit zero runs in international cricket.”
