Yuvraj Singh as a child was more interested in roller skating than cricket. In fact, he won the Nationals U-14 Roller Skating Championship. Yes, you read that right!
However, his father, former India cricketer Yograj Singh, always encouraged him to play cricket. In a press conference, Yuvraj had said, “He (his father) never appreciated me playing any other sport which always scared me when I was a young kid. Luckily for me, later in my career I started enjoying playing cricket and made something good out of it.”
