MUMBAI: The world of sports is full of amazing stories. While some stories motivate us, some leave us stunned. Speaking about the same, here’s an interesting piece of information for all the ardent fans of sprinter Usain Bolt and cricketer Yuvraj Singh.
Those who are interested in athletics must be aware why Usain Bolt has been bestowed with the title ‘fastest man on Earth’.
The Jamaican former sprinter is an eight-time Olympic gold medallist and eleven-time World Champion. He broke several records, and he is the only sprinter to win Olympic 100 m and 200 m titles at three consecutive Olympics (2008, 2012, and 2016).
Now guess what? Indian former cricketer Yuvraj Singh once defeated him on the tracks. Yes, you read that right.

Well, it so happened that when Bolt was ready to bid farewell, Yuvraj Singh took to Instagram and paid tribute to him in a lovely way. The cricketer shared a glimpse of the rare moment when he achieved the almost impossible feat of defeating the sprinter on the tracks. The video is from an exhibition cricket match held at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru in 2014. The delightful video is too hard to miss. Yuvraj’s and Usain’s expressions, while they were sprinting, will leave you in splits.
Back then, sharing the video, Yuvraj wrote, "Looks like I'm the only man on this planet to beat you (sic) ever @usainboltyour legacy will forever be unmatched. Go well legend because (sic) you're #fastestforever#livedareinspire.”
