18 crew members test positive for COVID-19 on Dance Deewane 3 sets

MUMBAI: The situation on the sets of Dance Deewane 3 is worrying. ETimes states that 18 crew members have tested positive for COVID-19. This created chaos and fear on the sets. Producer Arvind Rao immediately got in a new set of dancers to step in and perform the duties that were earlier performed by the crew infected with COVID-19.

A source mentions fear has gripped the rest of the people working on the show as well as the judges and the host. The show is judged by Madhuri Dixit, Tushar Kalia, and Dharmesh Yelande and hosted by Raghav Juyal. The source said, “The number 18 is very high. Immense fear must have gripped everyone associated with the show 'Dance Deewane 3', including Madhuri Dixit, Tushar Kalia and Dharmesh Yelande who judge the show. Ditto for Raghav Juyal, who hosts it.”

General Secretary Ashok Dubey of Federation of Western India Cine Employees said, "Whatever has happened is very unfortunate. We pray that each person who has been infected gets fine. This show always does a pre-test with the cast and crew and hence they had some time to rush in a new crew. Their next shoot is on April 5 and a pre-test will again be done. Only those who are COVID negative are allowed and hereafter too the same procedure will be adopted.”
