Aakash Aath’s daily Satyamev Jayate, which was launched in the month of March this year, recently completed featuring 100 episodes.
Within few weeks of its launch, the investigative journalism based soap went on to become one of the most popular shows of the channel.
The soap through its lead character reporter Srimoyee, played by Shampa Banerjee, exposes various crimes of our society.
When Tellychakkar.com got in touch with Shampa to know her reaction on this development, she quipped, “I really feel happy as this project is really close to my heart because the character I portray in it is a strong one and a really different one.”
“Also, this project involves a lot of hard work from the entire team of SMJ (Satyamev Jayate),” she added.
When quizzed if they celebrated the occasion or not, she said, “Nope, we didn’t as we were too busy shooting.”
“On this occasion of completing 100 episodes, I look forward to complete 1000 episodes with a triumph in due course of time,” she signed off flashing a bright smile.
