Aarya Bhatta opens up on his bond with Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin star cast, reveals he crazily misses his ex-co-stars from the show, shares details about his character and much more - EXCLUSIVE

MUMBAI : Aarya Bhatta is one popular actor of the small and the big screens.

The talented star has appeared in several hit TV shows, movies and OTT series too.

Aarya Bhatta is currently seen as Shantanu Bhosale in Star Plus' popular drama series Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin.

The actor is now seen playing Savi aka Bhavika Sharma's father in the show post the leap.

Earlier, Aarya Bhatta was seen as Ishaan Bhosale aka Shakti Arora's father in the show.

As the show has taken the leap, the relationship dynamics have changed.

In a recent interaction with TellyChakkar, Aarya Bhatta spoke about his character and much more.

The previous star cast made an exit from the show and now there is a new set of actors. How is the experience working with new actors?

The experience is amazing and it is going very well working with the new cast. So here it is like I am working with many people whom I have known for a long time like Pallavi Pradhan who is playing Bhagyashree. I don't know her directly but through a common I know her. I have known Hitesh for a very long time. Rest everyone is very sweet. It is fun to work with them. A lot of fun happens along with work. And because Pallavi, Sagar Saini, Mansi and I are slightly of the older age group, we four bond quite well.

How much do you miss the old star cast?

I miss them like crazy now. I had recently posted a picture with my current star cast on Instagram and Vaishalee had commented on it. I also commented on her reply and asked her to come back to the show. We all had a great connection as we bonded so well with each other in no time.

All good things come to an end. And while it was there, it was superb, it was great fun to work with all of them.

Post the leap, the younger lot of actors have come. Initially, we didn't know each other but now we all are familiar. But the unit is the same here.

What difference have you seen in Shantanu's character from the start till now?

I won't say that there is suddenly a very drastic or dramatic change in my character. The change is that Shantanu and Isha are now responsible for Savi. The makers have kept things very tight and upright. Both the families live very close-by. Here they have shown that we are also doing a lot and are actively bonded with Savi and then they have also kept a parallel kind of an interest. There is a fantastic bond shown between Shantanu and Rajendra. Also, there is a sweet-sour relationship between Bhagyashree and Isha.

I think the off-screen bonding has happened because of the on-screen bonding.
