Abhinav's midnight 'tryst' with the police

Television’s bad boy Abhinav Shukla aka Dev (his character in Geet) recently had a strange hit and miss incident with the police. The actor was almost on the verge of being taken to the police station for running around in a locality that the cops claimed to be dangerous. Describes Abhinav about the incident, “I was jogging at Lokhandwala at around 1.30 in the night when two so-called cops who weren’t even in their uniform, carrying a lathi came up to me and started questioning me. They told me to sit in the jeep. I asked them what wrong had I done when they told me I was jogging at 1.30 in the night in a locality which is a danger area and if something were to happen to me, they would be put to blame. I argued with them because I knew I was not doing anything wrong. I wasn’t even committing a crime. They kept arguing with me. I think they expected some kind of chai paani from me to be let off. Finally after some heated arguments they let me go. “I just want to let people know that if such things ever happen to you do not be afraid. If you know you are right, don’t let anything or anyone bog you down,” signs off the actor.
