MUMBAI: ALTBalaji’s Gandii Baat was extremely popular amongst the masses. It caught everyone’s attention with its daring content and willingness to explore bold concepts. After the smashing success of this much talked about series, it is all set to release another sensational season that will continue to adapt beliefs and fantasy stories from rural India.
Gandii Baat 2 will feature four stories based in rural areas.
According to our sources, one of the tales will feature actors Abhishek Gupta and Fahmaan Khan.
Abhishek, who has also signed &TV’s Vikram Aur Betaal, will play the lead role as Duga, and Fahmaan, who was recently seen in ALTBalaji’s Home, will play the important character of Soma.
Apparently, the story is loosely inspired by the ghotul, ritual which is carried out in a village based in Chhattisgarh.
Abhishek confirmed being a part of the series, while Fahmaan remained unavailable for comment.
