Tellychakkar had exclusively reported about acclaimed writer Zama Habib turning producer for Star Plus’ next.

Zama has penned popular dramas namely Bidaai, Sasural Genda Phool, Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hain, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hain, Saas Bina Sasural, Pyaar Ka Dard and many more.

Zama is bringing his own fiction show under his production house named Qissago Telefilms.

Initially, makers had roped in Kunal Khosla to play the main lead. However, later things didn’t work out with him and soon there were reports about Navi Banghu being approached for the role.  

 A few months ago, there were reports about Abhishek Singh Pathania finalized as the main protagonist.

And now, Tellychakkar has now got to know, not Abhishek Singh Pathania but Abhishek Sharma has been signed to play the male lead.

Abhishek has been part of TV shows namely Mere Angne Mein and Suvreen Guggal. The project will also star talented actress Garima Shrivastav of Gustakh Dil and Ishq Ka Rang Safed fame. She will portray the character of Abhishekh’s mother.

As we reported earlier, the soap will have Newbie Bhumika Gurung playing the female lead and other actors who are part of the series are Indraneil Sengupta, Rita Bhaduri, Rishi Khurana and Vijay Kumar.

We buzzed Abhishek but he remained unavailable for a comment.

The actors have begun shooting and the daily is expected to launch in the month of August or September (2017).
