Acting is easier than anchoring: Srabanti Chatterjee

Popular Bengali actress Srabanti Chatterjee said that she was nervous to host a TV show for the first time. She will be seen anchoring Zee Bangla's upcoming Durga puja special programme ‘Bijoyar Baithak’.

Tollywood actress Srabanti Chatterjee will be seen anchoring a TV show for the first time.   

Yes readers, she is anchoring Zee Bangla's upcoming Durga Puja special programme ‘Bijoyar Baithak’.  

And guess what?

The gorgeous actress, who mesmerized the audiences by acting in Bengali flicks like Goynar Baksho, Shudhu Tomari Jonyo, Deewana and Dujone, was very nervous while shooting for the show.

She confessed candidly, “When I was told that I will be anchoring a show I got really scared. I was tensed for the whole day. It was my first time. I have never anchored one before.”  

“I have realized one thing that acting in front of the camera is easier than anchoring,” she added.  

The Bong beauty said that the audience will enjoy a lot while watching the series.

She said, “In the programme, the people of our film industry (Tollywood) and all the members of Zee Bangla will be seen playing games and having adda.”

“Basically, whatever happens in a puja pandal will happen here…the fun adda sessions, the interesting games…everything.”

The show will see actors like June Maliah, Saayoni Ghosh, Joyjit Banerjee, Sourav Das, Sonalee Chaudhuri and many others as participants.  

Bijoyar Baithak will be aired on 16 October, 8 pm.
