From an actor to photographer, Faisal Raza Khan excels

We know that Faisal Raza Khan is a popular name in the television industry for his versatile and hard-hitting roles that he has enacted. However, there is a side of his that has come to the fore only recently. Well, we found out that Faisal is an avid photographer who has transformed this passion of his to a part-time profession. Yes, you heard it right. The actor has been keeping himself busy by clicking his actor friends for folio-specific photo shoots. Talking about his penchant for lens, Faisal told Tellychakkar.com,“Earlier, photography used to be a very expensive hobby to cultivate. But with the advent of software and digital cameras, it is easy to enjoy this hobby. And being in the television industry, I know the in-and-outs of lighting and other technical details involved while shooting. To tell you, there is not much difference between television lighting and one in a photo shoot.” About the manner in which he goes about his photo shoots, the actor stated, “I enjoy clicking the most picturesque pictures. Mine are very adventurous photo shoots, where I play with light and shoot mostly in natural light. I don’t believe in shooting my models in a studio, and would rather like to click them in the midst of the common man. The combination of the common man and my model comes out amazingly well.” On his recent photo shoot experiences, Faisal averred, “Recently I clicked Sakshi Pradhan in the locales of Lonavala. She wanted a specific folio shot where she is not the girl next door, but a model with oomph. I also shot Nigaar Khan on the sets of my show on Life OK, Sapno Ke Bhanwar Mein. She was actually proceeding for a shot wherein she was dressed in a saree with normal television make-up. She had a look to kill, and I immediately decided to capture her on camera.” On the actors he has professionally shot, Faisal mentioned. “I have done photo shoots of Manish Naggdev, Pratichee Mohapatra, Deepak Tijori, Nigaar Khan, Sakshi Pradhan, Zeb Khan, Waqar Sheikh, Atishree Sorkar, amongst others.” Lastly, we could not stop but ask him about his prized possession, and he said, “I have a Canon D5 and D7 with various lenses. I aim to shoot many of my actor friends.” Way to go, Faisal!!
