MUMBAI : Sushant Singh Rajput’s death has left his former girlfriend Ankita Lokhande in distress. After SSR was laid to rest peacefully, his Pavitra Rishta co-star was snapped outside his residence to meet the late actor’s family. A month after the actor's death, Ankita took to social media and posted for the first time for Sushant. Posting a picture of Diya, Ankita prayed for SSR’s soul. Not only that Ankita even prayed for the actor while lighting a Diya ahead of his last film Dil Bechara release. Watching Sushant one last time on the screen, the Baaghi 3 actress was all emotional.

Now for the first time post Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, Ankita Lokhande stepped out of her house. Snapped at a store, the actress was snapped sporting a mask while wearing a blue and white striped T-shirt paired with black shorts. While making an exit from the store, Ankita was seen distributing chocolates among the needy kids.

Earlier, Kangana Ranaut had revealed to Delhi Times that Ankita had spoken about SSR’s mental health to her. She had stated, “When I spoke to Ankita, she said right from the beginning, there was so much humiliation that he could not take it. This is how she summed it up." The Panga actress said that Ankita told her how he could not take what people used to think about him, he has had enough.

She added, "But one thing that she also said about him was that he was not thick-skinned. He would sit on Twitter when he was new and would fight with fans, asking 'why did you think that about me? Why did you say that about me? I am not this person that you are saying.' Ankita told me that she used to tell him ki abhi ye toh hoga na. Everybody will have their perception of you, why are you so bothered about it?"
