Alka Yagnik takes notes as Chef Ranveer Brar shares special COVID-19 Kadha recipe on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs

MUMBAI: Zee TV’s popular singing reality show, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li'l Champs has been winning over everyone’s heart courtesy the amazing performances by the wonderful contestants. Post celebrating the 80’s era keeping the charm of classics alive with Bollywood stars like Amol Palekar, Annu Kapoor and Randhir Kapoor, the popular reality show this week is all set to welcome the utterly dazzling and India’s favourite chef Ranveer Brar. In the upcoming episode, while the contestants will leave everyone mesmerised with their iconic performances, Ranveer Brar will also be seen revealing some interesting and delicious recipes in the special ‘Khana aur Gaana’ episode.

While Gurkirat’s performance to Himesh Reshammiya’s famous track ‘Ice Cream Khaungi’ from the movie ‘The Xpose’ surely left the judges and jury members amazed at the Li’l champ’s talent, the special guest for the night, Chef Ranveer Brar was as amazed and stunned hearing the young kid sing. Praising and appreciating him for his outstanding performance, the dapper looking Chef also went on a special recipe of a ‘Kadha’ that could help everyone stay immune and in the best of health. In a fraction of minutes, Ranveer turned the set of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li'l Champs into his mini kitchen where he prepared his famous ‘Kadha’ and wooed the audience and the judges with his secret ingredients. Even Alka Yagnik was so intrigued that she decided to take notes of Ranveer’s four secret ingredients to prepare the same at her home.

Sharing his thoughts Ranveer Brar shared, “Be it for a season change or even to boost your immunity during this time, the most basic things that go into preparing this Kadha are Mulaithi, Lemon Grass, Tulsi leaves and Mishri. The spices that are to be added changes with season. For example, in Summer, Saunf is a great spice to put in the Kadha, while during winters, to fight common cough & cold, one can use the longest Laung there is. But the formula I’m preparing today especially to keep you in good health against the COVID -19 virus. Since WHO has declared that anything boiled, heated or cooked does not transmit COVID-19, the first thing to do is to heat a pan with 1.5 litres of water and then put ginger, ilaichi and all the four ingredients(mentioned above) with black pepper, jaggery and salt as per taste. This is indeed a recipe that is sure to boost one’s immunity and safeguard them from contracting the virus.”

Along with some delicious recipes shared by the Chef in the house, the contestants are also all set to deliver some ‘yummy’ and ‘masaledaar’ performances in the upcoming episode of the show. While Saksham Sonawane is all set to deliver a peppy performance to the song ‘Aao sikhaon tumhe ande ka fanda’,  Aryananda’s melodious voice to the tunes of ‘Cheeni Kam Hai’ will surely fill the atmosphere with sweetness. All in all, the upcoming episode of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs will have a lot of melodies, recipes and surprises for the viewers.
