Talented actor Amit Dolawat, who has shows like Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan, Zaara, Main Aisi Kyun Hoon, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Sasural Genda Phool and Shubh Vivah, to his credit has now bagged the lead role in veteran actor Kanwarjit Paintal’s maiden production venture on Doordarshan, titled Lakeeren Kismat Ki. The show will now focus on a love triangle between the lead guy (Amit Dolawat) and the two girls. Giving him company will be the gorgeous ladies Sonali Nikam and Charu Asopa. Noted actors Maninee De Mishra, Hiten Paintal Geeta Paintal and Paintal himself are seen playing pivotal roles. Paintal in addition to acting and producing, is also directing this venture. Lakeeren Kismat Ki is presently on air from 12.30 – 1PM every Monday to Friday on Doordarshan. Amit who has been seen in various challenging roles recently in episodics of Fear Files, Haunted Nights said, “Paintalji convinced me to take up this show. The fact that he is directing this series gives actors like us a big learning experience. This is a brilliant role and a very good setup to work in. I want to reach out to the interiors of India with Lakeeren Kismat Ki. Also, the show takes up few of my days in a month which leaves me with enough scope to take up challenging work outside.” Dolawat’s entry is expected to happen very soon. Way to go, Amit!!
