Dheeraj Kumar’s ambitious project Yeh Pyaar Nibhayenge Hum, starring TV heartthrob Karan Wahi and sexy siren Reema Wohra as leads, has created a lot of buzz in the world of television. Media pundits believe that the soap has potential to rake in great reviews and numbers. Now, the latest news is that the maker (Dheeraj Kumar’s Creative Eye) has decided to bring in Amit Thakur and Kanika Dang to play significant roles. Amit Thakur, who will also be seen in Shashi-Sumeet Mittal’s Punar Vivah on Zee TV, has been signed to play the role of the female lead, Reema Wohra’s, father. His character will be of a Haryanvi man who is strict in nature and likes to do things in his own way. When contacted Amit Thakur, he confirmed his entry but refused to divulge any further. Furthermore, Kanika Dang – who is currently seen in Star Plus’ Sasural Genda Phool – will be playing Karan Mehra’s mother. It is believed that her character is loosely inspired from politician Sushma Swaraj (BJP). She will maintain a perfect balance between her professional and personal life. “Yes, I am part of the show.
