Well, we woke up today to sniff a fresh new development in the story, and that is with regards to Anand’s present ‘relationship’ status.

A credible source tells us, “Anand has been married to Ira, for more than 15 years now. However, the couple has been going through a rough patch, with them filing for divorce. In fact, they are on the verge of getting separated legally.”

We hear that Anand had moved out of his home nearly one and half years back, and lives separately. However, he has no restrictions whatsoever in meeting his daughter (who stays with Ira).

Ira, ex-wife of Anand is creatively involved with Star India, is what we hear.     

When contacted, Anand for the first time opened up and talked about his failed marriage saying, “Yes, it is true that our 15 years of marriage is over. Ira and I mutually consented to filing for divorce, and the process is presently on. I have been living away from Ira and my daughter for more than one and half years now. I have never wanted to come out open about my personal life, but felt the need to talk about it now.”

Adding more to his ‘affair’ with Priya, the actor quipped, “The day I have anything new happening in my personal life, I will surely let you guys know. Such link-ups at this phase of life can hurt my daughter's sentiments.”
