Anand Suryavanshi 'remodels' himself for better roles on TV

Anand Suryavanshi
Anand Suryavanshi, the name has weight and so does the man’s personality. Carved and chiseled at all the right places, brawny and brainy Anand is an absolute eye candy, wet dream of women who fume in passion the moment the lad flashes his…you know what…pearlies. Immensely talented and blessed with good looks, it’s rather disappointing or disheartening that the industry has not been throwing pivotal roles at him. He has been around for some time now and has displayed flashes of talent every now and then, but Anand’s really awaiting for his one big break in the world of entertainment which will catapult him to the big league, and we believe, he definitely deserves a shot. The actor has featured in shows like Kasautii Zindagi Kay (Star Plus), Mamta (Zee TV), Grihasthi (Star Plus), Sindoor Tere Naam Ka (Zee TV), Ye Ishq Haaye (Star One) and Hum Ne Li Hai… Shapath (Life OK). When we spoke to him we could sense a palpable creative energy ready to explode on given a chance. Hear out the man: “I have been away from TV for one and a half years now. What was I doing? I was busy working on myself. I was being offered roles, but nothing substantial. Hence I chose not to jump the gun and take up anything just for the heck of it. I am confident that soon I will get a good meaty offer which would not include playing a beta or a husband or an out-an-out negative character.” Clarity of thoughts. A person who is clear in his thoughts and goals can climb a mountain or tame a young colt. Moving on, he elucidated more on the choice of roles. “I believe this is the best time to be associated with the small screen for a lot of TV producers are experimenting. There are shows like Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, 24 and Yeh Hai Aashiqui, which provide an actor a platform to perform and grow.” Other than that, one of the major issues that Anand faced on TV before he decided to take a break was the age group that he was falling in. “On TV it does not matter how old you are but it’s about how old you look? Most of our TV leads fall in the category of 20 to 22. Their father, uncle and other family members fall in the age group of 40 to 45. Unfortunately for me I belonged somewhere mid-way. So, I worked to lose weight. I just hope they put me in a category that gets me better offers now,” smiled Anand. Give his dynamicity, the young champ has also become a professional nutritionist, a hobby that he nurtured during his break time. “Yes, I have been giving some nutrition counseling to industry insiders and outsiders, both, for a while now. Apart from this I am also writing a book on the same subject but it will come out sometime next year,” ended the actor. Anand, you are one gem of a talent and we hope to see you soon on screen.
