Anant Mahadevan to direct an episodic of Lakhon Mein Ek

Tellychakkar.com had earlier reported about National Award winning Director Rahul Dholakia directing the opening episode of Big Synergy’s Lakhon Mein Ek on Star Plus. We now hear that ace director cum actor Anant Mahadevan has been roped in as the director for an upcoming episode of the series which will deal with the story of color discrimination. As we know, Lakhon Mein Ek is a series of stories about people who have brought about a change with their ‘nayee soch’. We hear that the episode which will be aired on 9 September 2012 will be directed by Anant Mahadevan. The story will be about a girl who is of a dark complexion and the manner in which her in-laws are worried about the girl begetting a dark complexioned heir to their family. Usha Jadhav, the girl who appears in the recently running promos of KBC 6 with Amitabh Bachchan has been chosen to play the lead role in the episodic. Talented actor Arun Nalawade, who was seen in the movie Shwaas, and Sukanya Kumaran will essay important roles. When contacted, director Anant Mahadevan told Tellychakkar.com, “Yes, I will be directing an episodic for Lakhon Mein Ek. The story is about color discrimination and it was my choice to take in Usha Jadhav for the lead role. She is a brilliant discovery and looks very realistic in the role.
