Anchal is all set to air on Star Plus

Star Plus will soon see a new show titled Anchal produced by VG Productions and Gradiente infotainment Ltd. A source says, “Anchal is story of a girl who just moves out of college to get married to a man who has two children from his previous wife. The girl’s father works for a rich industrialist who has three sons who are all married. One fine day his eldest son loses his wife and is left with two kids. This is when Anchal is married to this man where she has to take up the responsibility of two kids and stay with a man who is still lost in the memories of his late wife. “Shobhit Rana has been finalised to play the lead. It is also buzzed that she may also be seen playing a role in Jeena Hai Saath Saath which will air on Colors. Aasma Siddiqui who was last seen as Popatlal’s love interest Koyal in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah will be a part of the show too. The show is to go on air sometime in February. Rest of the cast is still being finalised.” Shobhit confirmed the news and said, “Yes, I am doing Anchal and I’d be doing Jeena Hai Saath Saath too as it’s from the same production house. They have told me that they will manage the dates so I am fine with it.” Aasma Siddiqui too confirmed her participation in the show. Producer V Kumar said, “Yes, we are doing a show for Star Plus.” VG Productions is also doing Paraya Ghar for Star Plus as reported earlier by Tellychakkar.
