MUMBAI: Sushant Singh Rajput’s sudden demise due to suicide not only shocked everyone but also sparked massive outrage in the country. It brought to light topics such as nepotism, favouritism, and bias in Bollywood and a few B-Town biggies are being slammed by Netizens on social media. Several hashtags regarding the same, such as #NeptismInBollywood have been trending on social media, and not just Netizens, many members from the film industry themselves spoke up about it. Now, Sushant’s fans were trending JusticeForSushantSinghRajput on Twitter, while his fans in Patna protested and burnt effigies of Karan Johar and Salman Khan.

According to a report in News18 Hindi, fans in Patna hit the streets and accused that stars like Sushant, who don’t come from families with a film background, aren’t allowed to survive in the industry. On Tuesday, Sushant’s supporters not only demanded further CBI inquiry to resolve this matter, but also burnt effigies of Salman Khan and Karan Johar and set them on fire. It was also reported that the angry fans said that films of both these stars shouldn’t be allowed to release in Patna.

Meanwhile, filmmaker Shekhar Kapur, in his tweets, made a few revelations and stated that he knew the story of the people who let Sushant Singh Rajput down so bad that he would weep on the filmmaker’s shoulder. After his tweets, fans asked him to reveal the names of those who may have caused pain to Sushant.
